Mr.Hobby – Aqueous Hobby Color – water-based acrylic resin paints that can be diluted with water. Compared to solvent-based acrylic paints, they contain fewer organic solvents and use milder solvents, so the smell is very weak, and the paint is easy to use even at home.
After drying, the paint becomes water-resistant. While it is not yet dry, it can be diluted with water and the tools can be washed with plain water. After drying, Mr. Tool Cleaner is recommended for cleaning tools. The surface is covered evenly and smoothly, with a great shine.
Usage:
With a brush: No additional thinning is required, but if the viscosity is too high, a little water or Hobby Color Thinner can be added.
Airbrush: Recommended dilution ratio 1:1 with Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner. Thinning with water is possible, but too much can slow down drying and reduce adhesion.
For a smooth result, apply 1-2 coats with a brush, 2-3 thin coats with an airbrush.
If the base color is too dark and shows through, apply additional coats.
For a matte finish, add at least 15% H40 Flat Base to the mixed color, for a semi-gloss finish, add 5-10%.
⚠ Note:
Do not mix with other model paints.
